Let’s be honest about something: your best life doesn’t actually need validation. Insecurity does.
Think about it. The most genuinely confident people you know? They’re not posting every single win for applause. They land the promotion, they don’t say anything for a week, if at all. They go on an amazing trip, and you only find out because you bumped into them, not because it was all over their feed. They’re just quietly living their life, no audience required.
It’s usually the insecure version of all of us that needs the likes, the comparisons, the “look how good my life is” energy. Not because that life isn’t good, but because some part of us needs other people to confirm it before we fully believe it ourselves.
Honestly, the quieter someone is about their wins, the more secure they usually are. The loudest highlight reel isn’t always proof of the best life. Sometimes it’s just proof of how badly someone needed you to see it.
